childhood. B.A. quickly steps in and sets some kid straight who was stealing hubcaps. The lecture is cut short when B.A. is
startled by one of his old friends, Mario Ronda. While enjoying a quick drink in a bar with his long ago friend, B.A. and Mario
clean up the place with the local low-lives after one of the degenerates harrasses B.A. for drinking milk. Later, at the A-Team
group meeting, Hannibal Smith informs the group that they have been hired by Roger Townshend, a reknowned diamond mine
owner, to catch a diamond thief. Hannibal also reveals that the fencers, Angelo and Salvadore Lopez, will be taking delivery of
the diamonds from one Mario Ronda. B.A. has a hard time believing that his old friend is crooked. The plan includes a trip to San
Juan and requires that Miss Priss, Roger Townshend's sister in law accompany them to identify the thief, as she is familiar with
the employees. B.A. learns that Mario is involved while the diamond thief is revealed as Paul Townshend, Roger's son. In an
ellaborate scenario Paul escapes the restaurant where the A-Team had planned to make their capture. Back at the Lopez borther's

Two years prior the Kuramoto brother's father had been nabbed by a group of ninjas while they were all vacationing at the Grand Canyon.
Thanks to pictures taken by a nearby tourist at the time, there is a photo record of the whole incident. Hannibal recognizing the uniforms
of the ninjas from the photos knows instantly that they are dealing with the radical group the sons of the desert. The A-Team develops
a plan in which Face and Amy Allen are to pose as reporters doing a story on the cultist society while B.A. and Hanibal attempt to gain
entry to their compund by disguising themselves as telephone repairman. Hannabal's plan however quickly unravels once he learns that
there are no phones in the compound and the team quickly finds themselves in a desperate battle in the Arena of Death. As the fight
progresses B.A. comes up against a truly formidable foe, the Sumo. The Sumo tosses B.A. around the ring like a rag doll. If they survive

The Flight of the Redbird In this issue, the A-Team is hired by cowboy star, Wild Jack Munroe. This
movie star somehow managed to become aware of some little countries radar-proof super secret spy plane that they just developed, the
Redbird. Having alerted the government only to be ignored Wild Jack feels it is time to take matters into his own hands and show the
U.S. government what can be done by real Americans. He hires the A-Team to steal the plane
for him, in an attempt to rub it in the government's face. Hannabal in grand fashion comes up with a master plan which gets the entire
A-Team onto the enemy base and into the plane rather easily. But now who are they gonna give this nifty little plane too, the arrogant
actor, the government, they surely can't keep it for themselves. |
