Wolverine is one of the best characters ever created in fiction. I blew it by not coming up with the idea first.

Journey As this issue begins, Matt Murdock is dozing at his desk when he is awoken by his friend Franklin Nelson. Franklin,
while it had slipped his mind at the time, had stopped in to tell Matt that one of the vigilante cops who had trashed his house had escaped from jail. Matt however,
quickly learned this on his own as a stick of dynamite came whizzing at his head as he left his office building. Luckily, using his overheightened senses, he was
able to avoid serious injury and escapes with just a concussion by batting the dynamite away with his cane. Fortunate because, Matt had airline tickets to Japan,
on the trail of BullsEye whom japanese doctor's were going to rebuild after sustaining serious injuries when he fell from DareDevil's grasp. Once in Japan, as with the
usual bad guy flunkies, it didn't take DareDevil long to get in a fight with mindless thugs while searching the ship which BullsEye had been stowed away on. While
BullsEye was no longer aboard, DareDevil did free a prisoner from aboard the ship who claims to know where BullsEye had been taken to and is willing to lead
DareDevil there. |

Blackheart This issue begins with a bit of legend, surrounding the hill of some nondescript town. Over the centuries the evils
that took place in this stretch of land slowly added up to almost palpability. Until the present day while DareDevil was getting a workout on a nearby roller coaster,
it gave birth. Evil, through a careful nudge by Mephisto a long time rival, became flesh and it knew nothing but death and destruction. While early on it's infant
rampage DareDevil quickly comes to the scene, and is not holdiong up to well. Spider Man comes to the rescue and between the two they thoroughly stomp on
the bad guy. Ironically however, it was the eyes of the gathering crowd which ultimately weakened the beast into defeat: Evil grows strong in darkness, in hiding but
in plain sight it is seen for what it is and loses its power. |
