Bill Mantlo After 20 years of drawing comics, he left the industry in the 80's to focus on his legal career as a public defender. In 1992, Bill was struck by a car while rollerblading, suffering a severe head trauma. He spent over a year in a coma and has since been institutionalized, he is not expected to fully recover.

	The Darkness
My thoughts on this series as a whole have not entirely been formed yet, at least not so far as I would feel comfortable making them public. But anyway, I highly doubt that you came here to read what it is that I may or may not have thought.

Gastonia I have not yet summarised this issue of Image's The Darkness. But just glancing through it, I notice that it seems to be a period piece, and starring one seemingly more sinister Darkness than our own usually lovable fair. It should prove interesting.
