| As this issue begins we find Groo, Chakaal, and Rufferto traveling the countryside, as usual Chakaal is tryingto convince Groo to travel in the oposite directions as her, Rufferto is in complete agreement. Shortly after departing Chakaal's company Groo quickly rushes back to her side and in this instance she is not sorry to see him. As Groo reapproaches Chakaal he finds her battling a dragon, between the two of them they make quick work of the giant lizard, upon entering the nearest town they find themselves at the feet of yet another dragon. upon the slaughter of their second dragon they quickly learn from the townspeople that this dragon was in fact the town's guard dragon wich they had purchased from Groo's old friends Pal and Drumm. Traveling to their dragon training camp Chakaal tries to feign interest in purchasing a dragon in order to get to the bottom of their plot, Pal recognizes her however and in attempt to distract her releases two dragons on the unsuspecting town. Knowing that Chakaal would kill them for what they had done, Pal and Drumm quickly load a ship with what dragons they can and make their escape. Not knowing Groo is traveling with Chakaal, they had no idea how bad of an idea traveling by ship turned out to be, will this be the one ship Groo doesn't sink. |
