First appearing throughout the Conan comic book series, Marvel has on occasion tried to create a following by creating a stand alone Red Sonja series. My copies are actually part of the third volume of the Red Sonja comic book series. I haven't seen any of the first two, but the way I see it, if you enjoy Conan or any other type of midevil swordplay then there isn't any reason not to check out this title. As a matter of fact, there was even a movie put out in 1985 which featured Conan and Red Sonja. I only wish that I had more of this comic book series, whether it was this volume or the first two.

... I have unfortunately not yet had the chance to summarise Marvel's issue #8 of Red Sonja. While the cover image and credit information are mostly present, an issue summary has thus far managed to elude me. If you would like to contribute to the Comic Gnome's comic book resource, this is an example of one of those places where it could definately come in handy.
