Guess Who's Buried in Gant's Tomb This tale begins with Spider-man and Moon Knight battling with the new assassin that the Maggia had sent, and losing. Having thwarted the last assassins plans, he had called the Maggia requesting aid in defeating the two super heroes. Cyclone, the replacement that they had sent, blew Moon Knight straight into the sky and out of sight, then turning his attention towards Spider-man who he sought revenge upon from their last encounter which had landed him in prison. Fortunately Spider-man had dropped unnoticed into a manhole under the cover of the Cyclone's vortex giving the illusion that he to had been vanquished. Later Spider-man and Moon Knight decide to join forces despite the fact that neither trusts the other. Moon Kight escorts Spider-man in his helicopter back to his fog shrouded mansion so that they may come up with a plan to combat the Maggia, where in he lets Spider-man in on everything he knows about the organizaton and their world wide ties. Having located a tour guide map on the Maggia's first assassin the new duo have a lead that there is a meeting that night at Grant's Tomb and visiting the monument later reveals that their hunch was correct. Moon Knight sealing off the back door and Spider-man sealing off the front insures that entire gang inside is indeed trapped, they make their move through the skylight surprising everyone, especially Cyclone. While both Moon Knight and Spider-man are impressed with the others abilities, it is thanks to a chemist from Long Island whom Moon Knight knows that they are able to render Cyclone unconscious by creating a silver capsule that when broken renders a small explosion of liquified gas which drops the temperature in the eye of Cyclone's storm to well below freezing causing him to rapidly go into shock thereby losing control and spinning sideways into the walls of the tomb. |
