  Spider-Man Adventures
This particular series of the Spider-Man sagas is in fact a direct reflection of a televised animated series which garnered a modicum amount of success. Airing for five seasons (65 episodes) starting in November of 1994 and finishing in January of 1998. The Spider-Man Adventures comic series did not share in such a long run however only seeing publication from late 1994 to early 1996 with a mere 15 issues.
Bitten by a radioactive spider, student Peter Parker gained the proportionate strength and agility of an arachnid! Armed with his wondrous web-shooters, the reluctant super hero struggles with sinister super-villians, making ends meet, and maintaining some semblance of a normal life! He also exists in alternate realities - divergent universe which appear much as our own, but upon closer observation are very different!
- Stan Lee

... I have unfortunately not yet had the chance to summarise Marvel's issue #1 of Spider-Man Adventures. While the cover image and credit information are mostly present, an issue summary has thus far managed to elude me. If you would like to contribute to the Comic Gnome's comic book resource, this is an example of one of those places where it could definately come in handy. If you also own or are overly familiar with issue number 1 of Spider-Man Adventures published in December, 1994 and you feel like putting your ol' book reporting skills to work, please visit the Contact form and submit an issue summary today. Of course I'll check over what you submit before I'll post your summary of Spider-Man Adventures issue 1, but assuming it's accurate, you'll have my gratitude and the knowledge that you helped this humble comic book resource grow.
