Spider-Man Adventures |
 |
This particular series of the Spider-Man sagas is in fact a direct reflection of a televised animated series which garnered a modicum amount of success. Airing for five seasons (65 episodes) starting in November of 1994 and finishing in January of 1998. The Spider-Man Adventures comic series did not share in such a long run however only seeing publication from late 1994 to early 1996 with a mere 15 issues. Bitten by a radioactive spider, student Peter Parker gained the proportionate strength and agility of an arachnid! Armed with his wondrous web-shooters, the reluctant super hero struggles with sinister super-villians, making ends meet, and maintaining some semblance of a normal life! He also exists in alternate realities - divergent universe which appear much as our own, but upon closer observation are very different!- Stan Lee
