My thoughts on this series as a whole have not entirely been formed yet,
at least not so far as I would feel comfortable making them public. But anyway, I highly doubt
that you came here to read what it is that I may or may not have thought.

All have their individual problems : Havok is putting himself under pressure to become a leader as good as his brother Cyclops, Polaris has problems with accepting herself as an attractive woman, Multiple Man can’t stand to be alone, Guido hides the fact that his power puts him in constant pain, Quicksilver feeld limited by a world to slow for him and Rhane has problems finding her own personality. Val Cooper later talks with Dr. Samson, and it turns out that totally misinterpretes her team. At the end she is kidnapped by some unknown forces. |

Rahne’s strange behaviour towards Alex turns out to be part of her mutate programming, she was bonded in a master slave relationship with Havok, who then was brainwashed into believing to be a Magistrate. Prodigal is offered to become part of the government as the mutate spokesperson. Sasha Ryan reports to a mysterious figure.
Cabin Fever Crystal and Quicksilver’s weekend out is ruined by a fake reporter who shows Quicksilver pictures of his wife on a date with the Black Knight. A wedge is driven again between Crystal and Quicksilver. |

While his teammates fight the Magistrates, Multiple Man finds the dying man and removes his protective clothing in order to give the man CPR. Multiple Man then takes him back to the hospital, clearly fearing that he too is infected with the virus. Quicksilver arrives at Genosha’s airport and starts getting drunk because of his spoiled weekend with Crystal. Val Cooper picks him up and tries to isolate him from the rest of the team. Also she brings up his father Magneto. |

Later, X-Factor visits one of the nurses that survived the attack. Sadly, when X-Factor leaves the building, the nurse goes into a cardiac arrest from wounds she received from Senyaka’s ropes and dies. Val talks Quicksilver into going to Camp Hayden with her after Spoor, one of the Acolytes that was captured after the attack on the hospital, tells them that it is the next place the Acolytes will attack. Quicksilver, Random, and Val go to Camp Hayden while X-Factor secretly follows them. After the team arrives, the Acolyte’s attack, but after Fabian talks to Quicksilver, he learns that he will not be able to get Quicksilver to join the Acolytes and calls it off. Fabian has Voght transport the team from the base. Afterwards, Val reveals that the Acolytes had controlled her and since X-Factor could no longer trust her, they break their ties with her and walk from the base, leaving her behind. |

They express their condolences about Illyana’s death, but they are really there to have Rahne’s condition examined by Xavier. Sadly there is nothing that the Professor can do to reverse the effects of the mutate bonding process. Her only chance to become like before would be a psion therapy on Muir Island, however it has only a 50% chance of succeeding, if not her mind will be destroyed forever – still Rahne decides to do it. Lila Cheney offers Guido to accompany her on a tour through the galaxy, but her turns her down. Polaris and Quicksilver receive new costumes that match with the team and aren’t too revealing. Lorna’s looks fine, but Pietro’s has many useless belts, gadgets and pouches. Blowing off steam he runs around till all of the accessories are lost, and the reqmaining costume underneath looks great. Forge is appointed new governmental liaison of X-Factor. |

Polaris wants them to apologize which causes a fight in the bar and they get arrested, but are later bailed out. Lorna makes a public speech about coexistence. Wolfsbane is on her way to Muir Island to cure her mutate-programming. Multiple Man seems very depressed and Quicksilver is considering his position within X-Factor. In the meanwhile Forge is trying to adjust to his new position as X-Factor’s government liaison. Though admiring her, Random accepts a contract to kill Polaris. |

Meanwhile Forge asks Havok why X-Factor needs his current members and tells him that Quicksilver has left X-Factor. Havok is capable of convincing Forge that all members of X-Factor are essential, but when he and Polaris are trying to spend the night, they are interrupted by Wolfsbane, whose mutate programming has proven too strong to resist, and she returned from Muir Island before undergoing treatment. Jamie behaves more and more weird, he now is constantly split in three, one dupe having fun, one guarding the real and very angered Madrox in his room. |

X-Factor helps the victims of a terrorist bombing and Forge fills in Havok tbhat he suspects that it was only one event of a series of terrorist activity. Wolfsbane’s and Multiple Man’s conditions are becoming even worse. Polaris is attacked by government troops but rescued by the mysterious Haven, a religious visionary who keeps hearing a voice that preaches about a new world order. |

Haven teleports her back to Washington with one of her books. Lorna contacts Professor xavier, who received the same book and asks her to further investigate.Random is attacked by troops in service of his former employers, but defeats them. Multiple Man’s dupes gain more and more individuality, each manifesting a different personality trait. Polaris figures out that Jamie has the Legacy Virus, but an angry dupe prevents her from really getting to the main depressed Jamie. A joyful dupe has read Haven’s book and talks Rhane and Guido into attending Haven’s lecture, where they meet Val Cooper. Lorna too attends, but not before long, Haven is interrupted by Havok and Forge wanting to arrest her. |

Delusional and with his power out of control, he make his way of the country, beset by his treacherous ex-lover, Scarlet McKenzie. X-Factor, an unwilling Mystique and Wild Child have followed to be attacked by crimelord Tatsu’o’s cybernetic Samurai, a diversion so that the assassin Fatale will have time enough to find Havok. X-Factor, Havok and Scarlet finally all converge in a club. Before Havok’s power totally goes out of control, Fatale appears behind him and collapses. Back in Atlanta, the mercenary Random receives a mystery call. Afterwards, he “absorbs” his roommate and dissolves. |

or X-Factor for more than 30 seconds and that forces her to stay with the team. Mystique reluctantly admits that she has no choice but to work for them, but it is
already clear that she is going to make trouble. A little later, she spies on her teammates, threatens Val and then tries to seduce Forge. Havok is still worried about
his uncontrollable powers and gets in an argument with Forge over what he considers Forge’s usurpation of his role as team leader. However, Alex himself has to
admit that in his current state he cannot represent the team in public. He visits the comatose Strong Guy and admits his fears to his friend. Forge relives his time
in the Vietnam War, deeply troubled by something he refuses to talk about. Wild Child decides to stay with X-Factor for reasons of his own. He wishes to talk with
Val, but she avoids him. Elsewhere, the Dark Beast prepares Random to infiltrate X-Factor and get him Havok. |
